53rd Winery and Vineyard is located in Louisa, Virginia just a short drive from Richmond, Charlottesville, and Fredericksburg. Enjoy wine by the flight, glass, or bottle on the deck or in our tasting room year-round. 53rd offers a number of wines to fit a variety of tastes and is a member of the Heart of Virginia Wine Trail. Our wines are sold at the winery and through our online shop. Don’t miss the opportunity to become a member of our quarterly wine club! Wines are shipped or picked up at the winery on designated dates.

Closed: Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day

Choose four wines to enjoy in a self-guided flight, with each served as a two-ounce pour. No reservation required.

Traditional Wine Tastings
Select eight wines to sample, each served as a one-ounce pour. Offered at our tasting bar, this experience requires no reservation but is subject to space and staff availability.

Private Tastings and Events
